Equival 38 : securing receipts and promoting the transisere department network

Équival 38 Inc was created at the end of 2002, following a bid for offers launched by the Isere regional council to manage its new zonal ticketing system.

This system facilitates inter-mode operations with the department’s urban networks as well as with the Lyon agglomeration network. Its contract with the department was signed for 4 years.

Equival 38 is in charge of:
- the department’s ticketing: manufacturing, distribution, sales, development of a network of agents, sales to companies within company transport schemes (PDE)
- managing and distributing receipts among the transporters
- promoting the TransIsère transport network: media consulting for the local authorities, promotion documents, commercial actions, information bus
- consultancy for the department to develop non-contact ticketing
- tele-ticketing experimentation

Equival 38 has also developed an Internet site to inform passengers about the public transport offer, the fares and timetables throughout the department, including an itinerary research system.
