Last 25 April, Filival, the transport service of disabled people in the department of Val-de-Marne, celebrated its first birthday at Maison-Alfort and drew up a largely positive early assessment of activity. Indeed, on this date, Filival owned a fleet of 30 adapted vehicles and a manpower of 49 drivers but especially, in one year, the number of people recorded on this service was multiplied by five, what had made possible in May, to pass the hurdle of the 50 000 races. In addition to the service quality, this success is explained initially by a social invoicing policy which helps the disabled people to move across the entire department for the price of a normal bus ticket and across the entire area for the price of five tickets.
Filival also strive for developing the users’ participation like through the creation, in last May, of a committee of exchange and information. In this privileged space, users can share theirs suggestions, in particular those about the improvement of the service running.
