EuRailCo has just been seen allotting a new contract in Germany. Trans Regio, subsidiary company of EuRailCo with 75% of the shares, was selected to exploit at the end of 2008, and for 15 years, the line "Mittelrheinbahn" which serves in North Rhineland - Westphalia and in the Rhineland - Palatinat, the Rhine’s banks between Cologne, Coblentz and Mainz.

This new contract must bring an additional annual turnover of approximately 36 million euros for 2.9 million km a year. So, this will bring to Trans Regio a considerable increase of its activity and will allow to position significantly itself in the field of the electric regional services.

This new exploitation will also reinforce, in a spectacular way, the presence of EuRailCo - Trans Regio in these areas and will place it under excellent conditions to continue to grow locally and on others German regional railway markets.

Based on the confirmed experiments of its two shareholders, Transdev and RATP Development, EuRailCo confirms its obvious ambition to become one of the first European railway actors.
